1) Was created in 1951. Only tested boys. There is a chapter designated for women, they tested sophomore college girls
a) Are influenced by their socioeconomic status and what their family members did
b) Found many aspects the same as boys, in regards to the fantasy stage
c) Back then women found that in the tentative stage they were more limited to their possibilities and were influenced by parents and teacher to find “lady-like” jobs.
d) During the Realistic stage, the women in the 1950’s have a great deal of limitations for job and career choices.
c) The girls that they interviewed were marriage-oriented and put that as more important than a career
d) A quote that was used, “ The girls cannot have any clear picture of the type of life which they are likely to lead if they do marry, because it will depend in considerable measure on the economic status of the husband. This has a particular relevance for the question of whether they will work or not.”

* These factors are still in society, but obviously women have a lot more freedom to do what they want. They may choose many different career options and not all women base their life around marriage and family.
